Innowrap cold applied tape coating system is designed to prevent corrosion outside the pipelines and is applied to various types of pipelines used in oil, gas, chemical, and water supply markets to play an important role in corrosion prevention.
Innowrap is composed of a polyethylene backing and a butyl rubber adhesive layer. It is designed with excellent adhesion and a high elastic support layer, so it does not deteriorate after prolonged exposure to soil stress and seasonal changes. Some of the Innowrap products have UV protection, and they can be applied to pipelines that are exposed outside. Innowrap products are highly compatible with most coatings (PE, FBE, Coal Tar, Tape, Asphalt), and they can be applied by hand or with a wrapping tool that helps effortless installation. All Innowrap products exceed domestic and international standard quality standards.
Innowrap product line is generally divided into liquid adhesive (primer), inner tape, and outer tape. Primer and tape products are carefully selected depending on the purpose and the environment.
Innowrap IW700 liquid adhesive (primer) primarily acts as an anti-corrosion agent before the cold applied tape is applied and has excellent compatibility with the adhesive on the inner surface of the inner tape to ensure firm adhesion. The liquid adhesive uniformly fills gaps on the pipe surface, maximizing the long-term adhesion to the pipe substrate. Liquid Adhesive (primer) is supplied with different adhesive contents (23% or 30%) that can be properly reflected in the working environment and the pipe design. Liquid adhesives can be applied with a brush, roller, or spray depending on the job sites, and are supplied in 10-liter and 20-liter cans for practicality depending on the required applicatio
Innowrap IW730 inner tape is strongly combined with the liquid adhesive IW700 for secondary corrosion protection, and the thickness is carefully selected and supplied according to the customer’s requirements and technical standards.Innowrap
IW740 outer tape is designed for impact resistance and to protect IW730 inner tape from external impact, soil stress and UV rays.
Innowrap IW710 joint tape is designed to be easily hand-wrapped on various pipe fittings (field joints, elbows, tees, valves, etc.). It acts as an anti-corrosion protection like the IW730 and can also be used for mechanical and UV protection. It can be used alone without an outer tape depending on the job requirements.
Innowrap IW790 mastic filler is designed to fill voids or smooth out the sharp surface before applying the tape to help ease the tape application. IW790 has perfect compatibility and adhesiveness with the adhesive layer of the tape. It also can be used with a heat-shrinkable sleeve. This product is supplied in an appropriate size and width depending on job requirements.

Innowrap Product Lines
IW700 Liquid Adhesive
IW700 is the first essential part of the Innowrap cold applied tape coating system. It is highly comaptible with the butyl rubber formulation of the Co-Extruded inner coating that provides a smooth uniform coating surface.
IW730 Inner Wrap
IW730 is formulated to work in conjunction with IW700 liquid adhesive. It is designed for use on mainline wrapping or fild joint coatings either by hand or portable/heavy machine appplication.
IW740 Outer wrap
IW740 is designed for impact resistance and protects IW730 inner wrap tape (corrosion prevention layer) to prevent damage, protects it from external impact and stress, and block UV rays.
IW790 Filler Mastic
IW790 is produced to fill in gaps or voids for the complete cold applied tape coating system to be smoothly applied when it is difficult to be wrapped perfectly due to large gaps or empty spots.
IW710 Joint Wrap
IW710 is specially designed to be easily hand-wrapped on straight pipes, field joints, elbows, tees, valves, etc. due to its extra treatment on adhesive composition.
IW750/740EN 3Ply Tape
It is 3-ply tape coating system generally used for extremely corrosive environments where high mechanical protection is essentially required. It comply with DIN EN 12068 C-50.
IW760HT High Temp. Tape
IW760HT is designed for operating temperatures up to 120ºC where conventional cold applied tapes couldn’t be applied. It comply with ISO 21809-3.
IW700HT Liquid Adhesive
IW700HT is a liquid adhesive designed to work with IW760HT high temperature tape providing strong adhesion & high shear resistance.
IW720 High-Tack Joint Wrap
IW720 is a high tack butyl rubber adhesive. It is designed for ease of hand application without using wrapping tools. It comply with DIN EN12068-B30.
